Vinyl Care & Maintenance
Learn more about the best practices for maintaining your vinyl floors.
Vinyl Care
Vinyl floors are notoriously low-maintenance and, thus, not much care or maintenance will be required to keep them looking great. With that said, some basic care will be required to ensure that your floors age well over time. Establishing a care routine will most certainly extend the lifespan of your floors!
Vinyl care and maintenance start with sweeping on a regular basis. Dirt, dust, and other debris that can be tracked in from outside can damage your vinyl floors if left to their own devices. By actively working to remove debris you can help your floors to look great and continually perform well.
You should also always ensure that shoes are removed before walking across your vinyl floors. Placemats can also be helpful in this regard.
Vinyl Spills & Stains
Vinyl floors are tough on spills and stains, and thus minimal effort is needed to keep your floors looking sublime. Having said that, you should never allow any substance, liquid or solid, to sit on your vinyl floors for too long as it could cause lingering damage. For solid messes, you can sweep them up or use a vacuum to remove the substance.
